My love for fashion and design began when I was young. I would spend hours playing dress-ups, coordinating outfits and imagining myself as a famous fashion designer. Even then, I was drawn to the idea of creating something that people could see, wear and express themselves through.

For years, I imagined my own designs printed onto fashion items and dreamed about sharing them with the world. Bourizk Design gave me the opportunity to finally turn that dream into reality. Seeing people wearing something I have created is a feeling I am incredibly proud of.

I have achieved things I once thought might not be possible for me, from international travel and skydiving to becoming self-employed and building my own business. Living with cerebral palsy and using a wheelchair for my independence has been part of my journey, but it has never stopped me from pursuing the things I want to achieve.

When I create, I use my iPad and Procreate to bring my ideas to life. Using one index finger and a selection of digital brushes, I build detailed, colourful designs by layering different elements together. Designing gives me a place to feel calm, centred and completely free to express myself. It is my happy place.

I hope my journey inspires others to believe in their own possibilities and follow the dreams they carry with them. For me, this is only the beginning. I am excited to keep creating, exploring new ideas and bringing more of my designs to life.
